This Policy Statement is intended solely as guidance for members of the National Fireworks Association (NFA). A main purpose of the NFA is to provide a cooperative environment for individuals and companies involved in manufacturing, exporting, importing, displaying, wholesaling and retailing of consumer and display type fireworks and to provide a venue for the business of promoting and demonstrating these products. However, neither the NFA as an organization or its Board of Directors endorse or recommend specific manufacturers and or products, nor vouch for the performance, compliance, and safety of particular firework devices offered by any of its members. Furthermore, at times, individual members of the NFA may make claims as to the legality, performance, and compliance of their specific products. Such claims and conclusions do not necessarily represent the position of the NFA and its Board as a whole.
